Trialling Day!

Sherman and I had a jaunt up to the Bloodhound Club Spring trials ..... he did an excellent line, I was so pleased with his work.He was so accurate all the way around and all done at a wonderful steady but forward going gait that made me very glad I had him on a lead or id never have kept up. Sadly the very last field on his line was being sprayed with a chemical when we reached it and there was no way I was prepared to risk my hounds health and so I found an alternative route out and didn't complete the line. Just ONE FIELD!! Im so disappointed as lifting a hound off a line when they are hunting so well is very demoralising for the hound and very bad practice :( but I had no choice.
